Some say that the grass is always greener on the other side. Perhaps. But we are certain that the view is always better from the other side….of the East River. Most of us Manhattanites seldom find grounds to cross to the land of hipsters and Luger’s, but on this Tuesday, we assure you there will be ample reason.

On June 7th, The American Cancer Society invites you to take a walk on the other side at “Eat, Drink & Be Hopeful.” Enjoy the view from the luxurious penthouses of the stunning Northside Piers, while dining on some of the most delectable cuisine from the hottest Brooklyn restaurants and sipping expertly crafted cocktails—all in the name of a good cause.

Hosted by Alex Ott, celebrity mixologist, and Eric Wolitzky, of “Top Chef: Just Desserts” the event will raise funds to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving research, education, advocacy, and patient services.
