A Sensebowl Meal

In the vast metropolis of New York, with its endless array of restaurants, many of us still find ourselves revisiting the same spots for our lunches and takeout meals. They are quick, easy and supposedly healthy, but lord are we bored!

Introducing Sensēbowl. We predict that this new chain of fresh Korean-inspired “bowl” restaurants will do for Asian-style food what Chipotle did for Mexican.

At Sensēbowl, your meal is totally customized to your tastes. You choose from four different bases: rice, noodle, tofu, or greens. And then, you can add one of five specially cooked proteins (two styles of chicken, beef short ribs, shrimp, or shiitake mushrooms) and three of nearly thirty raw and freshly cooked veggies. Topping off your bowl, you get to select one of the two homemade broths, two signature sauces, or ten types of dressings.

There is currently one Sensēbowl location open in East Midtown and two other locations opening within the next six months.

Now, how do you say “bon appetite” in Korean?
