Dionne Warwick Ain’t Got Nothin’

Walking down any side street in New York, it’s difficult not to pass a psychic’s storefront, but very rarely do any conjure our confidence in the proprietor’s natural talents.  After all, we’ve never been particularly fond of the idea of a woman in a moomoo reading our future from a litter of chicken bones shaken and tossed out of an empty Folgers canister like dice in a game of Yahtzee.  It was not until recently, when we were introduced to someone from someone from halfway around the world, that we came to appreciate that the value of an expert’s meticulous method and value the science of astrology. 

Let us introduce you to Anita Chakraburtty, the woman who we guarantee will change your outlook.  Born in the UK and now based in Sydney, Australia, Chakraburtty is educated in analytical chemistry, naturopathy and nutrition, and she approaches astrology from a decidedly mathematical and scientific standpoint.  In addition to enjoying a fascinating reading with her, we recently caught up with Chakraburtty to discuss how her services can make a healthy important impact on clients’ lives.

You come from a chemistry and science background?  Aren’t science and astrology often thought of as opposite areas or study?
Astrology is an exact science as is chemistry. For example, the precise time and location of birth is used to produce a personal horoscope that is specific to you. Astrology is as mathematical as is chemistry, and I had to use a scientific calculator during my Astrology exams. So I think there are far more similarities between the two subject than differences. Astrology is “wickedly hard man” (as we say in South London!)”

Some readers may be hesitant to receive a reading or service from halfway around the world via phone or Skype. How would you address this hesitation?
Many of your readers will utilize telephone or video conferencing during their office hours to speak to colleagues or clients within America or internationally. How many of your readers use “FaceTime” on their iPhones to talk to loved ones overseas? We live in a Global world and neither my Sydney location or technology hinder my process.  Plus, I have a lovely English accent which your readers will LOVE listening to!

What are your most popular services and why?
Clients love my “Predictive Analysis” as it gives them the ability to be prepared for opportunities and challenges that are likely to occur in the next twelve to eighteen months. The twelve parts of your life that are covered include romance, career, health, friendships, family etc. I will highlight specific months to look out for, and specific dates are also mentioned.

Why should readers of The Showt be interested in having their charts done or receiving a predictive?
Astrology is a tool for self-understanding, and during a consultation you find you have an “Aha!” moment. Whilst we are in the “Rat Race” we may not have the time (or the money) to undergo hours and hours of therapy. In a single Astrology consultation, clients learn a great deal about their relationships with parents, siblings, work colleagues and romantic partners and what works and what does not work. I also look at how clients sabotage their hopes and dreams in life, as well as hidden talents they may have forgotten about as “life” takes over.
