Dr. Misbah Khan: Your New BFF

An unstable economy, unpredictable weather patterns and most recently the Rapture…these days, it seems that there are few things that we have control over.  With so much of our lives left to chance, it is good to know that we still have control over one thing—our looks.  Let us introduce you to your new BFF, Dr. Misbah Kahn, the charming, beautiful and renowned superstar of Sadick Dermatology Group.

Dr. Khan comes with credentials as impressive as her portfolio of before-and-after photos.  After receiving her primary education from Drexel College of Medicine and University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey, she went on to complete a four-year Laser Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School.  While at Harvard, Dr. Khan garnered acclaim as an expert in the field of fractal resurfacing and cellulite removal.  Most recently, she has been creating buzz with her new combination of treatments she refers to cleverly as BFF (Botox, Fillers, and Fraxel laser).

There is no single procedure that can reverse all of the signs of aging, but Dr. Khan is proving that the combination of Botox, Fillers, and Fraxel laser is one of the most simple and effective ways to eliminate signs of sun damage, gravity, underlying muscle loss, weight changes, and other leading causes of aging.

HOW IT WORKS:

Botox
Botox is the safe, FDA approved treatment of deep lines around the forehead and face, as well as a useful tool in preventing excessive sweating. A few days after the treatment, the patient will notice the disappearance of wrinkles caused by muscle movements and overall softer expressions on the face.

Fillers
Fillers are central to the BFF treatment. Safe and FDA approved, fillers are a means in which one can restore and reshape the architecture of the face. Enhancing facial fullness, cheek bones, and arcs that define facial contour, use of fillers results in the fresh, youthful appearance that so many have lost over time and wish to regain.

Fraxel
The skin itself begins to loosen and dull over time. Sallow complexions, increased pore size, uneven textures and fine lines are all inevitable signs of aging.  Fraxel laser treatment produces microscopic columns of mild thermal energy inside the skin rejuvenating it from the inside out. Fraxel can be used for a number of other conditions as well, including the elimination of acne scars, stretch marks, and brown spots.
