Getting Diva at Brunch

Madonna, Cher, Barbra Streisand, Courtney Love…no it’s not the next line-up for “Divas Live”; it’s an afternoon of dishing with three authors that have profiled these notorious stars.  Brunch Tales: We Are Nothing But a Story Covered in Skin is a new brunch concept in which three distinguished author/personalities will read, discuss and sign copies of their books; while guests enjoying hors d’oeuvres and a three-course prix fix menu and bottomless cocktails.  A portion of the proceeds will go to St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children.

The upcoming Brunch Tales will feature:

KEVIN SESSUMS: Author of the New York Times bestselling memoir, “Mississippi Sissy.” Sessums was previously Executive Editor of Interview magazine and as well as Contributing Editor of Vanity Fair.

CHERYL WILLS: Author of “Die Free: A Heroic Family Tale.” Wills is an award-winning anchor-reporter for New York 1 News and blogger for The Huffington Post and Essence.com.

MADALYN ASLAN: Author of “Jupiter Signs.” Aslan was named “The Love Guru” by The New York Times and is the only psychic palmist included in “Who’s Who in the World and America.”
