Getting Militant at the Gym

Sipping mimosa’s and picking at our Eggs Benedict during a recent brunch at Norma’s , we found the mealtime conversation awkwardly stumbling onto the topic of our gym life.  Almost as socially unacceptable as discussing politics at a dinner party, we hastily steered conversation away from land mined points: who was sleeping with who’s trainer, who was cheating on his Paleo diet, and who carried his water bottle under one arm like a clutch.  The only safe refuge in such a conversation?  Gym fashion.  As another round of cocktails arrived, we found common ground in our refusal to lug our fitness essentials in complimentary Goldman Sachs (or similar) corporate gym duffels.  Instead, we’ve recently taken to serving up a bit of military realness at “Chic-quinox” with our new tote by SR Squared.
