Getting Nude Inspiration

The male form is a beautiful thing…studied by artists for centuries.  But let’s face it…the GAY male form is even better.  Perhaps that is why Provincetown’s artist scene has become so strong…there are just so many damn cute homos to draw!  While Provincetown has, for many years, trumped the Pines in culture, artist Carlos Pisco, aims to bring a bit of creativity to our local gay getaway.

Pisco, who has been spending his summers in the Pines for the last decade, is the creator of Pines Nude Drawing, an artist group interested in drawing the male nude throughout the summer at the beach or in private settings.  The group has quickly attracted an impressive mix of artists, including Bil Donovan, who appreciate the wonderful opportunity Pisco provides.  Recently, Pines Nude Drawing was invited to participate in the 13th Biennial Art Show.  Although the summer season is coming to a close, Pisco’s group will continue studying the male form for another few weeks, so we encourage you to join his collective at no cost.
