After Sunday’s Folsom East celebration, we can’t seem to get the thought (or the smell) of leather out of our head. While we appreciate the efforts of those wearing harnesses, leashes and leather rings around their man bits, we can’t help but think of the astronomical monthly dry cleaning bills! We too love draping ourselves in a bit of hide, but prefer a more chic approach than Nasty Pig…so we turn to Skingraft.

Skingraft is a Los Angeles based design house led by designer Jonny Cota and brand manager Chris Cota. Born in 2005, the design house began as an experiment in performance art-inspired fashion and now produces full ready-to-wear collections for men and women along with ornate one-of-a-kind pieces for the runway and stage. A favorite of Beyonce and Adam Lambert, Skingrafts designs are edgy, inspiring and undoubtedly original. Think “The Matrix” meets All Saints.
