We love the duality of the Holidays.  On one hand, we treasure the Rockwell-esque tradition of nestling by a fire, exchanging gifts with loved ones. On the other, we don’t mind toasting “Old Saint Nick” after six hot buttered rums and getting into some mischief underneath the mistletoe.  ‘Tis rare that these seeming opposite agendas find opportunity to meet in such a conservative place as Boston…That is, until The Slutcracker.

Imagine if The Rocky Horror Picture Show and the American Ballet Theatre decided to make a naughty, sassy little lovechild…THAT is The Slutcracker. A scene-by-scene retelling of the quintessential holiday tale, ‘cracker is a arresting and erotic feast that features several forms of performance including burlesque, pole dancing, and other sensual surprises.

This hedonist production is a truly comedic romp that rejuvenates old traditions while causing a stir in the pants!
