Say “I DO” to Mark Consuelos
It’s been four months since the Marriage Equality Act became official, and the LGBT community is still celebrating its new-found rights! In the spirit of equality, why not say “I DO” to an evening of comedic performance that rejoices in these rights, Standing on Ceremony.
Known as “The Gay Marriage Plays,” Standing on Ceremony is already getting an impressive buzz for the collection’s wit and humor. With plays by Mo Gaffey, Moisés Kaufman, Neil LaBute, Paul Rudnick, Doug Wright, and other great playwrights, it promises to be a super-gay evening in every way. Featuring Mark Consuelos, Craig Bierko, Polly Drapper, Harriet Harris, Beth Leavel and Richard Thomas these plays are “vows” to the beauty of equality, the universality of challenges in relationships, and the power of love (no matter how crazy it may make us!) A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the “Freedom to Marry” fund and other marriage quality organizations.
Grab your “hubby” of ten minutes or ten years and head out for an evening sure to go down in homo history!
