As the days turn longer and we usher in the beginnings of parties and celebration, the world takes a collective pause to reflect on the AIDS epidemic that continues to affect our community. December 1, marks World AIDS Day, with events happening across the globe to commemorate those lost and invigorate those still fighting.
In The Life Media and its Leadership Council will be opening their beautiful Fifth Avenue space for an evening cocktail reception themed “Getting to Zero”, which focuses on the goal of zero new HIV infections, zero AIDS related deaths, and zero discrimination. They will also be premiering their December episode of their “In Our Life” series. The episode compiles over twenty years of coverage on the subject and includes conversations with Reverend Charles King and transgender actress Harmony Santana.
With complementary cocktails by Van Gogh Vodka, it’s a social-conscious event served in swank style.
