The Showt’s tranny test kitchenThe Showt’s Tranny Kebabs
While anorexia and bulimia are classic remedies for the illness known as “FAT,” we prefer to take the route of eating healthily to stay thin. As we told Kate at a young age when she started modeling, “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels…so eat half a grilled skinless chicken breast, do a bump and get your ass on that runway, bitch.” Our chefs in The Showt’s tranny test kitchen have come up with a recipe that is not only delicious but will keep you looking fierce at the beach.
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
1 8-ounce carton plain nonfat or low fat yogurt, drained
1 tsp crushed garlic
2 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
20-ounces firm fish such as cod or halibut cut into chunks
1 tsp paprika
Preparation:
Blend drained yogurt with crushed garlic, curry powder and lemon juice. Place chunks of fish in a large glass baking dish and pour curried yogurt mixture over them. Stir to cover the fish pieces. Alternatively, place fish and yogurt mixture in a large resealable plastic bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for up to 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, soak bamboo skewers in cold water for 30 minutes. When ready to cook, preheat broiler. Thread marinated fish pieces on to wooden skewers. Sprinkle with a little paprika. Spray broiler rack with nonstick cooking spray, and broil fish kebabs for 5 minutes each side. Serve with salad or rice. Serves 4.
